The most successful hardware startup LaMetric (Lviv office) is looking for talented Mechanical Engineer and ambitious personality to help us create new products for smart home.
Our first product, LaMetric Time — smart clock for home and office, is selling across the Globe. You will have an opportunity to work in a product team and will be responsible for developing and producing mechanical parts on all stages of the creation process.
*Responsibilities*
– Provide vision on mechanical prototype that meets industrial design/concept
– Decompose vision on parts and related materials needed to build a prototype
– Design mechanical parts in CAD software
– Build mechanical prototypes using Ukrainian/European/Chinese technology vendors (laser cutter, 3d printing, silicone molds, CNC and others)
– Assemble prototype from mechanical parts and printed circuit boards (will be provided)
– Develop bill of materials
*Necessary skills and qualifications*
– Design parts, assemblies, and drawings in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
– Familiarity with standard materials, part numbers, drawing numbering and structure
– Ability to assemble mechanical parts into the the final design without external assistance
– Effectively support manufacturing questions and changes in assigned projects
– Good English (at least intermediate level)
*Good to have skills*
– Design manufacturing/assembly molds or test fixtures
– Knowledge of other software like CATIA, 3DS Max, Rhino, Adobe Illustrator,
Mastercam, FlowPath, and others
